A proper distance
Il 9 settembre, dalle ore 18:30, HUB / ART è lieta di inaugurare la mostra collettiva "A proper distance" curata da Greta Zuccali.
La mostra durerà fino al 3 ottobre ed è supportata dalla società GAG London Equity Capital e Interface Power.
All'evento partecipano gli artisti Paolo Basso, Antonio Bernardo, Pietro Campagnoli, Giovanni Fava, Eugenio Galli, Luca Marianaccio, Noah, Valentina Porcelli e Letteria Russo.
La mostra è il risultato di una Call for Art lanciata su Instagram durante il lockdown. Gli artisti sono stati invitati a condividere le loro opere utilizzando un hashtag e una parola chiave. Quindi sono stati selezionati per creare un evento fisico nello spazio espositivo HUB / ART.
"A proper distance" è un riferimento alla nuova dimensione e trasformazione in atto nel mondo dell'arte. Un monito o più probabilmente un consiglio gentile per mantenere la giusta distanza tra noi e il prossimo, consapevoli che è necessario un ritorno alla normalità.
Dopo quasi tre mesi segnati da un incessante proliferare di esperienze artistiche virtuali, la mostra “A proper distance” presso HUB / ART segna il momento del ritorno all'arte reale. Un momento per rivalutare la materia viva delle opere come le presenze umane, immerse in luci e spazi oltre la dimensione dello schermo del nostro computer.
L'evento è l'occasione per inaugurare un nuovo spazio espositivo, la White Room, una sala di 120 mq che amplierà ulteriormente l'area vetrina della Galleria.
On September 9, from 6:30 pm, HUB/ART is pleased to open the group exhibition "A proper distance" curated by Greta Zuccali. The exhibition will run until October 3 and it is supported by the company GAG London Equity Capital and Interface Power.
The event features the artists Paolo Basso, Antonio Bernardo, Pietro Campagnoli, Giovanni Fava, Eugenio Galli, Luca Marianaccio, Noah, Valentina Porcelli and Letteria Russo.
The exhibition is the result of a Call for Art launched on Instagram during the lockdown. The artists have been invited to share their works using a hashtag and a keyword. Then they have been selected to create a physical event in the HUB/ART exhibition space.
“A proper distance” is a reference to the new dimension and transformation taking place in the art world. A warning or more likely a kind advice to keep the right distance between ourselves and our neighbour, aware that a return to normality is needed.
After almost three months marked by an incessant proliferation of virtual art experience, the exhibition “A proper distance” at HUB/ART marks the moment of return to real art. A moment to appreciate again the living matter of the works as the human presences, immersed in lights and spaces beyond the dimension of our computer screen.
The event is an opportunity to inaugurate a new exhibition space, the White Room, a 120m2 room that will expand further the Gallery’s showcase area
